They tap once. You get a text with the exact location.
The finder shares where they are and can call you straight from the page - they only see the contacts you chose to show. At the same time, nearby Supernormal users, vets and kennels are alerted.

Nobody's scanned it yet?
Nearby users, vets and kennels get an alert.

Partner, parent or sitter on the profile get the alert too.
Don't want strangers seeing your details?

Frequently asked questions
What is a Supernormal tag?
A tag for their collar with a QR code on it. Anyone who finds your pet scans it with their phone camera and sees their profile and how to reach you. No app, no battery, nothing to charge.
Does this tag work in the UK?
Yes. Your tag works in the UK and everywhere else in the world. There's no GPS, SIM card or local network involved: anyone who finds your pet scans the QR code with their phone camera, and your pet's profile opens in their browser, wherever they are. If they share their location, you're alerted straight away.
So it keeps working when you travel with your pet or move abroad, with nothing to change or set up.
How do the location alerts work?
When someone scans the QR code on your pet's tag, they can share their exact location from their phone. You get a text straight away with a map link and the coordinates. The tag itself has no GPS or battery - the location comes from the finder's phone, so it never needs charging.
Is the tag safe?
Our tag is crafted with your pet’s safety in mind. It contains no batteries or electronic components, making it completely safe for your pet to wear. We built our tag from a metal core, which means that not only is it light, it is also snap-resistant.
What does the Christmas offer include?
One QR pet tag for £29.99, paid once. The tag and your pet's profile work for life, and a year of Care is included. Choose a colour or have it engraved with up to four lines at no extra cost.
You can add your pet's details for us to pre-fill the profile for +£4, or leave the recipient to set it up when it arrives. Delivery is calculated at checkout.
Does it work for multiple pets?
If you want to protect multiple pets with Supernormal, you can conveniently manage all your tags under one account. Just order the tags you need and follow the simple setup instructions for each pet.
How do I set it up?
Scan the tag with your phone camera, create an account, and you're all set up. No app needed. We made the setup that streamlined, and we think your pet might actually be able to complete this with a few taps.
What happens after the year of Care?
Nothing changes for the tag. It keeps working for life: anyone who scans it still sees the pet's profile and your contact details, with or without Care. You will not be charged automatically when the year ends.
Care adds the extras, like location alerts, scan history, health records and the AI vet and trainer, and you can choose to carry on with it if you like.
What is included in the year of Care?
Care adds instant location alerts by text and notification when the tag is scanned, alerts to nearby Supernormal users, vets and kennels, Nova the AI vet, Milo the trainer, and health records, vaccinations and routines in the app.
The year is included in the £29.99, so there is nothing more to pay for it.
