What is a Supernormal tag?
A tag for their collar, laser engraved on the front with a QR code on the back. Anyone who finds your pet can read the engraving, or scan the QR code with their phone camera to see their profile and how to reach you. No app, no battery, nothing to charge.
What can I have engraved?
Up to four lines of up to 15 characters each, laser engraved into the front of the tag and centred. Most people choose their pet's name, a phone number and a postcode or address. The QR code is on the back.
Ordering more than one tag? Each tag gets its own engraving, or tick "Same engraving on every tag" to put the same words on every tag.
Does this tag work in the UK?
Yes. Your tag works in the UK and everywhere else in the world. There's no GPS, SIM card or local network involved: anyone who finds your pet scans the QR code with their phone camera, and your pet's profile opens in their browser, wherever they are. With Care, if they share their location, you're alerted straight away.
So it keeps working when you travel with your pet or move abroad, with nothing to change or set up.
How do the location alerts work?
Location alerts are part of Care, the optional extra in the Supernormal app. When someone scans the QR code on your pet's tag, they can share their exact location from their phone, and you get a text straight away with a map link. The tag itself has no GPS or battery - the location comes from the finder's phone, so it never needs charging.
Without Care, the finder still sees your pet's profile and can contact you in one tap.
Is the tag safe?
Our tag is crafted with your pet’s safety in mind. It contains no batteries or electronic components, making it completely safe for your pet to wear. We built our tag from a metal core, which means that not only is it light, it is also snap-resistant.
How much does it cost?
Engraved tags are £9 each, engraving included. There is a small delivery cost, depending on where you live, shown at checkout before you pay. Orders placed before 3pm on a weekday are dispatched the same day.
That's it - there is no subscription. The engraving, the QR code and your pet's profile keep working for life with nothing more to pay.
Do I need a subscription?
No. You pay once for your tags and delivery. Anyone who scans the tag sees your pet's profile and can contact you, for life, with nothing more to pay.
Care is an optional extra in the app if you want location alerts, scan history, health records and the AI vet and trainer. It is not part of this order: you can start it from the app whenever you like, with a free trial first, and cancel in one tap.
Does it work for multiple pets?
