A tag for their collar with a QR code. Anyone who finds your pet can scan it with their phone camera to see their profile and how to reach you. No app is needed to scan it, and there is no battery to charge.
Does this tag work in the UK?
Yes, in the UK and around the world. The tag has no GPS, SIM card or local mobile network to configure. A finder scans the code and opens the profile in their phone’s browser with an internet connection.
It keeps working when you travel or move abroad. With Care, you receive an alert when a finder shares their location.
How do the location alerts work?
When someone scans the tag, they can choose to share their phone’s location. With Care, you receive a text with a map link and coordinates. The location comes from their phone, so your tag never needs charging.
Is PawTag a GPS tracker?
No. PawTag is a smart QR ID tag, with no GPS hardware or battery. It helps a finder contact you and share their location. It does not provide continuous live tracking or show a pet’s position before someone scans it.
Is the tag safe?
The lightweight tag has no batteries or electronic components. Its durable metal core is snap-resistant and made for everyday collar wear. Attach it securely to a correctly fitted collar.
How much does it cost?
Your tag is free; delivery is calculated at checkout. Orders placed before 3pm on a weekday are dispatched the same day.
Your order includes a free first month of Care. After the trial, one pet costs £4.99 a month, or £40.99 billed annually, which works out at about £3.42 a month. On the monthly plan, each additional pet adds £1, up to five pets. Every pet after the fifth is included.
Care adds shared-location scan alerts, a ready-made lost-pet poster, health records and AI pet-care and training support. Cancel during your free month and you pay no Care subscription charge.
Does it work for multiple pets?
Yes. Manage all your pets and tags under one account. Order the tags you need, then set up a separate profile for each pet.
How do I set it up?
Scan the tag with your phone camera, create an account and add your pet’s details. You can do this in your browser without downloading an app, or use the Supernormal app for iPhone or Android.
Can I cancel Care?
Yes, at any time in your account. Cancel during your first month and you pay no Care subscription charge.
The tag keeps working: a finder can still open your pet’s basic profile and reach your chosen contacts. Location alerts, scan history, health records and AI pet-care and training support are Care features and end with your subscription.
How does the free first month of Care work?
You only pay for delivery when you order. Your free month begins on the day you place your order.
We email a reminder on day 28. On day 30, your selected paid Care plan starts unless you have cancelled. You can cancel in one tap in your account during the trial to avoid a subscription charge.
